Welcome to Swale

Welcome to Swale Borough on the North Kent Coast! Swale has lots to offer visitors, from 'Quality Coast Award Beaches' on the Isle of Sheppey and the vast expanse of marshes which are great for bird watching, to the busy towns of Sittingbourne and Faversham, and pretty villages nestling in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Swale has excellent connections to London, the rest of Kent, and Europe via the ferry or Channel Tunnel, and with a range of accommodation on offer, it is the perfect place to stay and explore. There are lots of things to see and do, from attractions to the great outdoors, and when the day is over there are plenty of places offering good food and drink.

Whether you come to Swale for a daytrip, short-break or longer holiday, you will find the perfect blend of seaside resorts and beaches, beautiful countryside, fantastic wildlife and busy towns and villages.
